Job Description

CPC customer support processor handling healthcare release-of-information inquiries for Datavant, a secure healthcare data collaboration platform. Resolving customer issues by phone, email, and written correspondence.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle release-of-information account issues for internal and external customers accurately and promptly
  • Answer and conduct business on the telephone while providing excellent customer service
  • Answer release-of-information telephone calls and inquiries accurately and timely
  • Review, research, resolve, and respond to inquiries received by telephone, email, or written correspondence
  • Document all calls, inquiries, and resolutions in the appropriate software systems
  • Follow department- and site-specific processes and procedures
  • Meet department productivity and quality assurance expectations
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of information
  • Maintain professionalism and rapport with coworkers and management
  • Communicate problems, complaints, and incidents promptly
  • Perform work according to training and facility-specific procedures
  • Attend mandatory employee meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain acceptable attendance and report as scheduled
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institute recognized by the State Department of Education
  • Friendly, professional manner of communication
  • Good customer service skills
  • Experience with a multi-line phone system required
  • Intermediate/advanced MS Office proficiency
  • One year of experience beneficial
  • Experience in data entry, medical records, health care, insurance claims processing, or proofreading/editing beneficial
  • Ability to stay organized while working quickly
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Passing annual Introductory HIPAA examination
  • Required to take and pass a 90-day ROI Certification course with a score of 85% or higher
  • Ability to complete required post-offer health screenings and provide or complete vaccinations as applicable
  • No employment sponsorship available
  • Must work Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. PST
