Job Description
Remote Customer Service Representative retaining DIRECTV customers through consultative support. Resolving complex service and technical issues while recommending products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Answer customer calls and address requests or inquiries concerning services and products
- Report problem areas
- Utilize systems and tools to assist customers
- Make recommendations based on customer needs using sales expertise
- Process purchases of products and services through operational systems
- Identify and resolve customers’ technical issues
- Cultivate and retain ongoing customers through empathetic and consultative interactions
- Resolve complex issues and contribute to process improvements
- Transform frustrated customer exchanges into excellent customer experiences
- Support customers during specified operating hours
- Complete business-required training and on-the-job training
Requirements:
- 6 months to 1 year of customer service work experience
- Familiarity with Windows computers
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Private or secluded work location within your residence
- Reliable LAN or WLAN internet service with at least 18 Mbps download and 12 Mbps upload, dedicated to DIRECTV work
- Quiet, private spot at home suitable for focusing and taking calls without interruptions
- Ability to support customers during working hours: Monday–Friday 5:55 AM–8:00 PM and Saturday/Sunday 6:55 AM–8:00 PM MST
- Some holiday coverage and occasional overtime may be required
- Applicants must pass position-related assessments or tests
- Complete and participate in all required training and on-the-job training
