Job Description
Customer Support Associate helping Assent, a supply-chain sustainability SaaS company, collect supplier compliance data. Supporting German- and English-speaking suppliers through calls, emails, translations, and webinars.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Support team in obtaining declarations and other important information from non-responsive suppliers in clients’ supply chains
- Communicate with suppliers through emails, phone calls, and conference calls to gather compliance information
- Assist with compliance requests and confirm the quality of documents provided
- Work directly with top-tier suppliers to help them respond to compliance requests
- Handle inbound supplier calls and troubleshoot compliance requests
- Engage unresponsive suppliers through outbound calls, supplier education, and webinar invitations
- Provide German and English language support for internal translations, webinars, and prospect calls with the Sales team
- Collaborate with the Program Success team on approaches for new customers, client campaigns, and supplier issues
Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Related work experience, such as administration, reporting, research and data, supplier/customer support, or call centres
- Ability to manage time effectively and juggle multiple priorities
- Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Applications
- Ability to leverage software functions proactively and efficiently
- Self-starter with excellent time management skills
- Ability to adhere to assigned deadlines
