Job Description

Digital advertising coordinator running fundraising and list-building campaigns for Middle Seat, a progressive political digital consulting firm. Managing ad copy, platforms, testing, reporting, and client coordination.

Responsibilities:

  • Run ad campaigns and support the ads team
  • Write initial content and review staff content for spelling and policy compliance
  • Coordinate with other Middle Seat departments to move campaign product pieces forward
  • Gather and compile data for reports
  • Write compelling ad copy asking supporters to donate, join, or support clients
  • Set up and review campaigns on Facebook, Google, list vendors, and other platforms
  • Learn and apply best practices for direct donate, acquisition, and persuasion campaigns
  • Run tests, read results, and provide strategic feedback and ideas
  • Serve as day-to-day client contact in collaboration with other ads team members
  • Assist with A/B testing of content, design, targeting, and landing pages
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested

Requirements:

  • Interest in working on advertising campaigns on major platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Adwords, and Trade Desk
  • Demonstrated commitment to progressive politics
  • Attention to detail and organization while managing tight deadlines and multiple projects
  • Project management skills, including anticipating obstacles and coordinating appropriate team members
  • Responsible and proactive approach to assigned tasks
  • Ability to complete tasks on time or ahead of deadlines
  • Creative, can-do approach to client work
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed
  • Comfort being available for urgent client requests outside normal business hours
  • Agency or campaign experience strongly preferred but not required
  • Experience working in email and digital strategy strongly preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of CRMs such as Action Kit, BSD, Action Network, and NGP strongly preferred but not required
