Job Description
Direct Loan Processor managing the lifecycle of consumer loan applications for Golden 1 Credit Union. Ensuring compliance, exceptional service, and quality in high-volume lending environment.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage the full lifecycle of consumer loan processing from application through funding
- Maintain and apply knowledge of state and federal laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound loan-related calls and messages
- Perform quality control reviews to support loan funding and operational audits
- Collect, analyze, and validate relevant financial and identity documentation
- Participate in all department functions to help achieve objectives
- Provide effective oral and written communication skills
- Provide exceptional customer service to Golden 1 members, dealerships, and outside finance companies
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- AA degree or some college preferred
- 4+ years experience in a fast-paced lending or work environment with high loan processing volume
