Job Description

DaVita value-based care director designing and scaling integrated clinical programs for kidney disease patients. Leading pilots, analytics, financial models, and cross-functional care innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive forward DaVita’s value-based care strategy for patients with chronic kidney disease and kidney failure
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and scalability of field initiatives and prepare markets for new integrated care programs
  • Partner with key teams across the Village to execute strategy
  • Organize frontline and field leadership teams to deliver integrated care for ESKD patients
  • Design scalable solutions and build consensus around recommendations
  • Evaluate current initiatives to identify opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and reduce total cost of care
  • Conduct gap analysis for processes or products that could enhance clinical quality and teammate efficiency
  • Evaluate ideas from field teammates and business stakeholders
  • Apply an iterative approach to testing and continuous improvement
  • Develop next-generation teammate-facing IT systems as an integrated care thought leader
  • Perform hypothesis development, research, insight generation, and business recommendations
  • Lead development, piloting, deployment, and outcome measurement for IKC Care Model processes and workflows
  • Build complex models and conduct financial planning and analysis
  • Convey findings in cohesive stories and summarize analytical insights
  • Distill complex business problems into impactful stories
  • Build consensus for demonstrated best practices across stakeholders
  • Travel approximately 15% of the time

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6+ years of work experience in management consulting, process engineering, investment banking or a corporate strategy role preferred
  • Recent experience working in value-based care preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and/or interest in healthcare delivery and patient experience
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills preferred
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to impact change
  • Ability to recognize, prioritize, and evaluate workload and specific growth opportunities
  • Ability to balance strategic vision and execution capabilities to deliver results
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • Outstanding conceptual, analytical and strategic skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a sense of shareholder responsibility
  • Strong executive communication skills
  • Ability to effectively handle and drive multiple projects with multiple teams
  • Willingness to understand the complexity of healthcare markets
