Job Description

Director of FP&A leading planning, forecasting, modeling, and reporting. Guiding financial decisions for FinThrive’s healthcare revenue-management technology platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual operating plan, periodic forecasts, and long-range financial planning processes
  • Manage revenue, operating expense, headcount, capital, and cash flow assumptions
  • Partner with executive and functional leaders across Product, Technology, Operations, Commercial, and corporate functions
  • Evaluate performance, shape priorities, and support business decisions
  • Develop and maintain driver-based financial models, scenario analyses, and investment cases
  • Support strategic initiatives, product investments, pricing, acquisitions, and growth opportunities
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reporting, variance analysis, trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
  • Establish and monitor financial and operational KPIs, executive scorecards, and dashboards
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardization, automation, and self-service analytics across planning and reporting processes and tools
  • Partner with Accounting and business leaders to ensure accurate financial results and effective close-to-forecast processes
  • Identify root causes for performance variances
  • Build, coach, and retain a high-performing FP&A team
  • Strengthen the team's analytical, business-partnering, and executive communication capabilities
  • Report to the VP of Finance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10 or more years of progressive finance experience, including substantial responsibility for FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and management reporting
  • At least 3 years of experience leading, coaching, or developing finance professionals
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear business insights
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with executive leaders and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial audiences
  • Experience developing executive reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and decision-support materials
  • Occasional travel, a couple of times per year, based on business needs
  • Compliance with applicable policies and procedures, required training, protection of confidential information, and prompt reporting of compliance concerns or incidents
  • Ability to occasionally move around the work area, sit, perform manual tasks, operate a computer and other office equipment, extend arms, kneel, talk, and hear
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
  • Clear communication by telephone and video conference and regular, punctual attendance
  • Ability to work effectively in a minimally noisy environment, follow direction, collaborate with others, and handle normal workplace stress
