Job Description

Director leading Information Security and cybersecurity initiatives for Office Depot. Responsible for policy development and team management in a global IT environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Information Security governance, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures
  • Identify and present risk management issues to the CTO and IT Leadership team
  • Consult with IT, security staff and stakeholders for hardware, applications and software
  • Lead cross-functional security teams to implement and maintain a global security program
  • Monitor compliance with information security policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in related field plus 7 years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of industry practices and technical systems
  • Security leadership experience in retail industry a plus
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) is required
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Experience with internationally recognized information security management best practices
  • Knowledge of applicable legal and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in risk assessments and defining treatment strategies
  • Strong negotiation and ability to coach team members
