Job Description
Director of Revenue responsible for driving revenue growth through sponsorships and partnerships for OSMOSIS Association. Lead sales efforts and manage relationships with sponsors, partners, and institutional customers.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive all revenue-generating activities for the OSMOSIS Association, including: Sponsorship and exhibit sales for conferences and webinars, Corporate and institutional partnerships for training and certification, Membership and community support packages
- Develop and manage sales pipelines aligned with annual revenue targets
- Forecast revenue performance and report progress against defined goals
- Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and digital platforms to acquire new sponsors, partners, and institutional customers
- Manage negotiations, close contracts, and ensure timely execution of revenue agreements
- Coordinate handoff for fulfillment with internal Operations and Marketing teams
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop campaigns, messaging, and sales collateral
- Conduct market research and provide customer and partner feedback to leadership
- Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities aligned with the Association’s mission and growth strategy
- Maintain CRM and sales pipeline data with accuracy and consistency
- Provide weekly revenue and activity reports, including pipeline status and conversion metrics
- Deliver post-campaign and end-of-contract performance summaries, including outcomes, leads, and recommendations
- Participate in regular virtual meetings with a distributed team
- Represent OSMOSIS professionally with sponsors, partners, and institutional stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
- 5+ years’ experience in sales for private investigations, library sciences, government/business intelligence, or cyber investigations verticals
- Knowledge of event sales, certification programs, or investigative solution providers
- Familiarity with open-source ecosystems and private investigation practices
- Strong organizational skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with CRMs, online sales, invoice management, and budget tracking
