Job Description

Senior leader for client-facing Environmental Services and Patient Transportation, driving strategy and operational excellence in healthcare. Delivering measurable financial results and optimizing service delivery models.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary executive advisor to senior leaders on EVS and Patient Transportation strategy and performance optimization, for both acute and non-acute, hospitality operations.
  • Lead complex engagements across acute and non-acute settings, driving measurable improvements in cost, quality, compliance, throughput, and patient experience.
  • Present strategic insights and recommendations to executive audiences with clarity and authority.
  • Align operational strategies with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, labor considerations, and financial constraints.
  • Design and optimize EVS programs using deep in-house healthcare operational expertise.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, tool development, benchmarking methodologies, and best-practice standards across EVS and Patient Transportation.
  • Evaluate and enhance insourced and outsourced EVS models, including governance, vendor management, and financial oversight.
  • Optimize labor models, staffing structures, productivity benchmarks, and performance management systems.
  • Lead Patient Transportation improvements, including dispatch design, staffing, throughput optimization, and cross-functional integration.
  • Drive advanced financial and operational analyses to identify savings, improve margins, and enhance performance.
  • Lead project governance and mentor consulting teams to ensure high-quality delivery and develop future leaders.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in healthcare Environmental Services operations within acute care settings.
  • Direct experience optimizing insourced and outsourced EVS service delivery models.
  • Experience improving Patient Transportation operations in acute care environments.
  • Proven ability to drive measurable cost savings, productivity gains, and operational improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, infection prevention standards, and hospital operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with ability to synthesize complex data into executive-ready insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior client stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.
