Job Description
Director of Partnership Development expanding public-sector partnerships for Shine Early Learning. Leading partnership lifecycle from relationship-building through procurement and contract execution.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the origination, development, and closing of government partnerships with state, regional, and local agencies and school districts
- Own the full public-sector partnership lifecycle from relationship-building and legislative alignment through procurement, contracting, and transition to implementation
- Bring deep expertise in government decision-making and funding structures to expand Shine Early Learning’s national footprint
Requirements:
- A proven track record of closing deals with state, regional, or local government entities
- Deep understanding of public-sector procurement, contracting, and legislative cycles
- Strong relationship-building skills with senior government leaders and stakeholders
- Exceptional writing ability to support proposals, grants, and procurement submissions
- Experience navigating non-RFP pathways such as sole source or contract expansions
- Comfort collaborating across finance, legal, and implementation teams
- Willingness to travel regularly to support partnership development
