Job Description
Supply chain director leading multi-site acquisition integrations for Molex, a global electronics connector and interconnect manufacturer. Harmonizing procurement, inventory, planning, systems, teams, and supplier networks.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage integration of supply chain operations across newly acquired entities
- Lead cross-functional transformation programs to harmonize supply chain processes, systems, and teams
- Define integration roadmaps, milestones, and KPIs
- Drive alignment with GSOP&E initiatives and supply chain best practices
- Optimize buying, inventory management, planning, logistics, risk mitigation, supplier collaboration, and GSOP
- Identify and capture supply chain synergies, cost savings, and operational improvements
- Partner with manufacturing, finance, and commercial teams to ensure continuity of supply and minimize disruption
- Drive change management and cultural/process alignment initiatives
- Liaise between sites and executive leadership, provide updates, and facilitate decision-making
- Manage stakeholder expectations and collaboration between legacy and new teams
- Identify integration and future supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate policies, and industry standards
- Collaborate on integration of supply chain technologies, ERP systems, and data platforms
- Use data analytics to monitor supply chain performance and identify integration opportunities
- Lead, mentor, and develop material managers, site leaders, and staff
- Build a high-performing, agile supply chain organization supporting post-integration growth
- Lead organizational development initiatives promoting engagement and adaptability
- Report to the Vice President of Operations
- Travel up to 60% depending on integration efforts and project scope
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience
- Significant exposure to M&A or business integration projects
- Proven track record leading supply chain integration during complex organizational changes
- Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationship management
- Exceptional project and program management skills
- Experience with integration tools and methodologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence and drive cross-functional alignment
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Experience with supply chain analytics platforms
- Willingness to travel as required
