Job Description

Supply chain leader expanding Anduril’s defense technology partnerships and supplier network in India. Shaping sourcing strategy, supplier qualification, compliance, and growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Anduril’s India expansion by building relationships with industry leaders and supporting growth and corporate development teams
  • Drive scope definition, proposal development, and term sheet generation during pre-commit phases of international captures
  • Provide supply chain market intelligence and risk assessment for go/no-go decisions
  • Analyze India’s industrial ecosystem, manufacturing technologies, and regulatory developments to identify partnership opportunities
  • Identify and qualify suppliers across commodity categories and lead supplier selection, qualification, and onboarding
  • Assess supplier technical capability, capacity, quality systems, and financial stability
  • Identify and mitigate risks across tier 1, 2, and 3 suppliers
  • Drive localization initiatives aligned with national security supply chain requirements
  • Advise Indian industry partners on supply chain development and sourcing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with Indian regulations, export controls, dual-use goods requirements, sanctions, REACH, and RoHS
  • Partner with business line teams to align sourcing approaches with product roadmaps and cost targets
  • Liaise between engineering, operations, program teams, and India manufacturing partners
  • Collaborate with Product Sourcing Engineers and Global Sourcing Managers
  • Manage supplier performance, escalations, corrective actions, strategic capacity planning, and new product introductions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or procurement focused on contract manufacturing
  • Experience preferably within defense, aerospace, or advanced technology industries
  • Success negotiating and managing complex manufacturing agreements with Indian suppliers
  • Deep understanding of Indian business culture, negotiation practices, and relationship-building expectations
  • Professional fluency in English and Hindi, written and verbal
  • Expertise in Indian compliance requirements, export controls, and dual-use technology regulations
  • Broad commodity knowledge across electronics, precision manufacturing, materials, optics, sensors, and defense-relevant categories
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating agreements with Japanese companies
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including total cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and make-vs-buy assessments
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and sourcing tools
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30–40%
  • Ability to work across international time zones with U.S. partners
  • Preferred: defense industry experience, India supplier-network building, NPI strategic sourcing, manufacturing-process knowledge, TCO and cost reduction, and growth or corporate development support
