Job Description
Remote Cortex domain consultant supporting Palo Alto Networks’ cybersecurity customers through SIEM/SOAR expertise, demonstrations, and Proof of Value projects. Partnering with account teams across Belgium.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within the assigned specialization area
- Present to customers as the Cortex expert at all levels, from practitioners to senior leadership
- Serve as the main technical point of contact for Cortex and support responses to RFIs/RFPs
- Lead and support customer demonstrations
- Scope and lead Proof of Value projects for prospective customers and partners
- Drive technical validation and Proof of Value win rates
- Discuss product alignment with customer requirements and differentiation
- Architect solutions to strengthen and simplify customers’ security posture
- Document High-Level Designs and Key Use Cases
- Help customers build and further develop services around Cortex solutions
- Lead conversations about industry trends and changes to the security landscape
- Discuss competitive offers and position Palo Alto Networks’ solutions as the best alternative
- Position Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services to ensure proper implementation and value realization
- Initiate projects to improve team performance
- Implement organizational policies and help others adopt them
- Convey customer feedback to Product Management, Technical Marketing, competitive intelligence, and R&D to shape requirements and product features
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in Security Operations or pre-sales/sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments
- Experience working with customers
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
- Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes
- Advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions
- Scripting experience is a plus; Python preferred
- Proficient in Dutch and English
- Preferably Professional Working Proficiency in French
- Ability to support in-person customer meetings and travel as required
