Job Description

Engineer responsible for planning and developing electrical supply networks in Germany. Involved in integrating renewable energies and collaborating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the planning and design of medium- and low-voltage networks (distribution and connection networks)
  • Network calculation and simulation (load flow, short-circuit, voltage drop) are your responsibilities
  • You handle the integration and assessment of renewable energy installations (e.g., PV, wind, storage), including systems under the German Renewable Energy Act (EEG)
  • You are responsible for the planning and dimensioning of substations and transformer stations
  • You support our customers in preparing grid connection requests
  • You prepare planning documents, concepts and technical documentation
  • You coordinate with grid operators, customers and project stakeholders
  • You are motivated to contribute to innovative solutions in the field of power grids (e.g., Smart Grids, network optimization)

Requirements:

  • You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a comparable qualification
  • You have experience in planning power supply networks (MV/LV, ideally also HV) and knowledge of network calculation
  • Additionally, you have an understanding of regulatory frameworks (EEG, TAB, VDE guidelines)
  • You demonstrate a structured, independent working style and possess strong technical comprehension
  • Teamwork and strong communication skills are as important to you as they are to us
  • You have business-fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
