Job Description
Engineering Technician supporting F/A-18 Maintenance Readiness Team. Involves data collection and analysis for maintenance activities and corrosion prevention.
Responsibilities:
- Support the F/A-18 & EA-18G Maintenance Readiness Team (MRT)
- Participate in NAVAIR Reliability Control Board projects
- Provide support to Planned Maintenance Interval (PMI) events
- Observe and participate in F/18 Organizational level post-deployment Material Condition Inspections (MCI)
- Collect maintenance data on corrosion prevention methods
- Provide reports/recommendations in coordination with MRT Lead requirements
- Create/produce high level presentations, reports, publications, and point papers
- Interface with all levels of F/A-18 Maintenance, including Organizational (Fleet), Depot Level, and Engineering
Requirements:
- At least fifteen (15) years in a 'Relevant Technical Discipline'
- Minimum of 8 years Naval Aviation Maintenance experience desired
- Familiarity with USN/USMC programs, NAVAIR data source applications, CNAF 4790, and F/18 IETM is required
- Advanced Microsoft product experience is preferred
- Current Secret clearance is required.
