Job Description
Cardiac mapping specialist supporting physicians and hospitals with Medtronic’s electrophysiology technology. Training clinicians, advancing CAS product use, and supporting territory sales.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on EP mapping and navigation systems and CAS products
- Educate physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical matters relating to CAS products and procedures
- Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products and related procedures
- Support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to achieve or exceed sales goals
- Develop and cultivate customer relationships resulting in incremental business
- Partner with Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Area Directors to identify sales opportunities
- Collaborate with local sales teams to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products
- Collaborate and communicate with regional sales and clinical teams
- Represent Medtronic CAS products, services, and support to physicians and support staff
- Serve as a regional champion for mapping technology proficiency
- Reside within the assigned territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
- Remain available within the assigned territory each day for unscheduled needs
- Occasionally travel outside the assigned territory, potentially overnight
Requirements:
- High school diploma plus a minimum of related 6 years of work experience in cardiac mapping and navigation, or associate degree plus a minimum of related 4 years, or bachelor degree plus a minimum of related 2 years
- Experience in cardiac mapping and navigation
- Experience with technical training assignments
- Experience in the cardiac catheter ablation field, EP lab, hospital/clinic, or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support
- Ability to travel more than 25% of the time
- Valid driver's license
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
- Ability to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory, with possible overnight travel
- Ability to freely move throughout the facility and use a phone, keyboard, mouse, and personal computers
- Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for 8 hours a day
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
- For baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
