Job Description
Senior GIS Analyst role at Onterris involves assisting in environmental projects and team collaboration through geospatial analysis. Managing spatial data and supporting field activities in a professional setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting multiple projects with increasing interaction with multi-disciplinary staff
- Creating and editing spatial data and mapping products
- Performing junior level geospatial analyses
- Generating, editing, and maintaining relational geospatial databases
- Supporting field activities as a field second (workload dependent)
Requirements:
- Possess an undergraduate degree in a related discipline or technical diploma
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role
- Understanding of geographic and projected coordinate systems and transformations
- Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software suite and extensions
- Proficient with ESRI ArcPro
- Working knowledge of ESRI Field Maps and Survey 123 data collection services
- GIS Programming experience using technology such as Python, Arcade, R, JavaScript, C#, SQL, and related skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Industry experience in the Environmental or Consulting space
