Job Description

Facilities Technician maintaining Huntington Bank’s retail and corporate properties across Milwaukee and Northern Illinois. Performing repairs, vendor coordination, budgeting, and emergency response.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage retail and corporate bank properties across various counties
  • Respond to emergencies and remain on call, with mandatory overtime based on business need
  • Self-perform 40–60% of maintenance and non-contracted services
  • Plan projects, budgets, maintenance, construction, relocations, and remodels
  • Develop work processes for vendors and contractors
  • Communicate with internal customers and natural owners
  • Operate the Facilities Management work order system
  • Participate in staff and departmental meetings
  • Complete required in-person and online training
  • Visit every assigned property quarterly
  • Complete annual site assessments and record them in the work order software
  • Support the Functional Coordinator, Facilities Manager II, and Regional Facility Manager
  • Verify vendor performance and pricing
  • Perform HVAC filter changes, lighting, plumbing, electrical, exterior, and interior repairs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be located in the Milwaukee or Northern Illinois area
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • 3+ years of Facilities Management experience
  • Experience creating or maintaining facility repair budgets and reviewing vendor proposals
  • Basic tools proficiency, including hammer, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, and saws
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • General maintenance skills and HVAC knowledge
  • Experience with Facilities Management software
  • Knowledge of building maintenance, including HVAC
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills, including budgeting and documentation
  • Time management and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States
  • Trade certifications preferred
