Job Description
Field Medical Director overseeing Oncology East team at Sanofi. Delivering medical engagement strategies and ensuring excellence in field operations to improve patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Coach, train and manage MSL performance and development to ensure excellence in the execution of the role and achievement of strategic objectives
- Perform field visits with individual MSLs to support territory development and promptly address field challenges or issues
- Ensure individual and team performance goals are set and met through monitoring metrics, resources and budgets ensuring excellence in execution and achieving KPIs
- Lead internal collaboration around insights generation activities and ensure data, facts and observations are gathered, reviewed and analyzed to be identified as insights and incorporated in strategic decision making
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or medical field (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD)
- 3+ years of experience in a field medical role or pharmaceutical industry
- Prior experience as people leader (preferred)
- Prior experience working with healthcare systems, payers, healthcare providers, and researchers (preferred)
