Job Description

Field Service Engineer providing onsite technical support and maintenance for customers at Dell Technologies. Collaborating with teams to resolve hardware and software issues effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply technical support expertise to resolve customer issues
  • Driving timely onsite services for Break/Fix and proactive maintenance
  • Collaborating with peers and internal SMEs to increase knowledge
  • Seeking resolution to achieve closure of complex issues
  • Keeping abreast of technology and service offerings
  • Using troubleshooting/diagnostic tools, content, and analytical practices
  • Developing professional expertise and applying company policies/procedures
  • Exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience
  • Intermediate hardware technical skills
  • Advanced professional skills
  • Full clean driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Desirable)
  • Dell EMC Proven Professional Specialist Level certification in at least one of the following: PowerScale, ECS, VPLEX/metro-node, XtremIO, Unity, VMAX/PowerMAX, Data Domain, Avamar, Hyperconverged (VxRail, PowerFlex) or PowerEdge (Desirable)
