Job Description
Field Service Engineer providing onsite technical support and maintenance for customers at Dell Technologies. Collaborating with teams to resolve hardware and software issues effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Apply technical support expertise to resolve customer issues
- Driving timely onsite services for Break/Fix and proactive maintenance
- Collaborating with peers and internal SMEs to increase knowledge
- Seeking resolution to achieve closure of complex issues
- Keeping abreast of technology and service offerings
- Using troubleshooting/diagnostic tools, content, and analytical practices
- Developing professional expertise and applying company policies/procedures
- Exercising judgment within defined procedures and practices
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of relevant experience
- Intermediate hardware technical skills
- Advanced professional skills
- Full clean driver’s license
- Bachelor’s Degree (Desirable)
- Dell EMC Proven Professional Specialist Level certification in at least one of the following: PowerScale, ECS, VPLEX/metro-node, XtremIO, Unity, VMAX/PowerMAX, Data Domain, Avamar, Hyperconverged (VxRail, PowerFlex) or PowerEdge (Desirable)
