Job Description
Field Service Wind Technician conducting maintenance on wind turbine generators. Responsible for safety compliance and documentation using service reporting tools.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance of equipment (fueling, lubrication, etc.)
- Operate a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance requirements
- Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) as required to maintain a safe working environment
- Complete and maintain required company and client documentation and records, using computer-based service reporting tools and procedures
- Perform other daily work requirements as directed by supervisor with general supervision
Requirements:
- Current GE LOTO Certification (required)
- GWO certified (preferred)
- Experience as a team lead and tower lead
- Work within confined space areas, such as inside a wind turbine nacelle
- Knowledge of GE platforms
- Work meets customer and company standards required of position and job, including following project schedules
