Job Description
IT Operations Intern assisting with installation and support of network, server, and storage systems at Workiva. Engaged in performance monitoring and operations documentation activities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, maintain, and enhance systems to ensure optimal performance
- Review system performance consistently, including alerts and notices, and taking appropriate action quickly to prevent downtime
- Install, configure, upgrade and maintain end user computing and telecommunication systems.
- Assist the Operations team through various activities, such as facilitating change management meetings, assembling knowledge documents and helping with operations projects
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Network Administration or related field
- Experience with AWS, networks, or servers, a plus
