Job Description
Financial Analyst analyzing healthcare financial data, budgets, forecasts, and trends for SSM Health. Supporting management decisions across mission-driven healthcare operations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information
- Perform statistical, cost, and financial analysis of data from internal sources
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
- Serve as a consultant to all levels of management, providing decision support for initiatives, policies, and procedures
- Analyze financial performance, develop forecasts and budgets, identify trends, and partner with leaders to support operational and financial success
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Three years' experience
- Analytical skills
- Research skills
- Hospital claims experience
- High-level Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Experian Contract Manager or EPIC preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Must reside in one of the approved states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, or Wisconsin
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry
- Ability to perform listed physical activities, including occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling of objects weighing 25–50 lbs.
- No professional license or certification required
