Job Description
Financial & Business Intelligence Analyst in a remote role helping a growing tech company operate smarter by managing financial reporting and BI. Collaborating with leadership on data-driven growth strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records with our bookkeeper
- Prepare key financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Track expenses, loans, licenses, and payroll changes
- Ensure accurate contractor payroll processing
- Coordinate with our CPA for tax filings and compliance
- Calculate bonuses and commissions
- Define and track key company KPIs
- Build dashboards and reports to monitor company performance
- Analyze financial and operational data to support leadership decisions
- Monitor accounts receivable and collection timelines
- Track project profitability and margins
- Improve resource planning through data analysis
- Implement automations using AI tools, APIs, and no-code platforms
- Build internal reporting tools to reduce manual work
- Create ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Intelligence, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in finance, financial operations, or business intelligence
- Experience supporting small or mid-sized companies, ideally in tech or agency environments
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Experience building BI dashboards and data reports
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Zapier, Make, APIs, or similar platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience with financial software and CRM platforms (Zoho CRM is a plus)
- Excellent communication in Spanish and English.
