Job Description
Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT Consultant designing, developing, and implementing Blackbaud's Financial Edge NXT. Collaborating with clients for software configuration and reporting needs in nonprofit sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding customers' needs in Financial Edge NXT, proactively gathering information to learn about their requirements and expectations.
- Configuring the Financial Edge NXT software solution to meet the customer’s requirements.
- Building customized financial reports and making changes to existing financial reports in Financial Edge to better reflect what the Finance team needs.
- Training teams on Financial Edge NXT system configuration, reporting, and required daily processes.
- Setting expectations with the customer as it relates to project scope, timeline, and budget.
- Identifying and presenting Change Orders to the customer when the customer’s requirements and/or budgeted project hours fall outside of the project scope.
- Coordinating data extraction from various databases for importing.
Requirements:
- Financial Edge NXT Professional Certification Required
- 5+ years' experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT
- 5+ years' experience with Non-profit accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
- Knowledge of GAAP, fundamental financial concepts, and procedures
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach to work
- Demonstrated success with time management and problem solving
