Job Description
Financial Systems Intern working with Financial Systems team on data analysis and systems projects. Collaboration with Accounting and IT teams to optimize financial systems and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Financial Systems team in various data analysis tasks and systems projects
- Work on systems related projects, data analysis or year-end SOX items
- Communicate and collaborate with the broader Accounting/Financial Systems/System Admin teams and other departments
- Maintain and optimize financial systems functionality
- Conduct analysis and provide recommendations to management based on findings
- Collaborate with other departments to test and document new enhancements
- Troubleshoot system errors and provide clear processes on how to avoid/fix them
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline financial systems processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a BS or MBA/MS
- A major in a Business or IT field is desired
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Observational and listening skills
- Self-motivation and excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and organizational skills
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.); Web proficiency
