Job Description
Food chemist advising SGS customers on food-law assessments, laboratory results, and labels. Supporting testing plans and sales proposals for safer food products.
Responsibilities:
- Advising and supporting customers
- Assessing food products for compliance with food law, including evaluating laboratory test results and preparing reports
- Reviewing food labels
- Defining the scope of analyses and test plans on behalf of customers
- Supporting the Sales team in preparing quotations
Requirements:
- Degree in Food Chemistry, including completion of the Second State Examination; alternatively, relevant professional experience in this field
- Enjoyment of cross-functional coordination and customer communication, together with a strong service-oriented approach
- Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English language skills (minimum B1 level), both written and spoken
