Job Description
Hands-on Fractional CFO for a HUBZone IT Services company focusing on Fed/Civ and DoW clients. Execution-oriented role improving financial discipline and supporting strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Perform short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting and burn management
- Clean up financials and improve monthly close discipline
- Work directly with the company CPA to ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and timely
- Establish and maintain EBITDA and management-adjusted EBITDA reporting
- Prepare and present Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual financial reports to leadership (CEO and COO)
- Support DCAA audit readiness
- Evaluate and advise on DCAA-compliant timekeeping systems
- Support strategic planning initiatives and KPI dashboard development
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable guidance for leadership
Requirements:
- Direct experience in government contracting
- Prior experience as a CFO, VP of Finance, or Fractional CFO
- Exposure to DCAA-compliant accounting environments
- Experience with labor and timekeeping systems used in Government Contracting
- Comfortable working in a fractional, hands-on engagement model
