Job Description
Freelance Copywriter creating sponsorships for a JavaScript newsletter with a creative tone. Join a dynamic digital media company dedicated to the creator economy.
Responsibilities:
- Write sponsored segments for two newsletter editions per week
- Digest technical software products and communicate their benefits to readers
- Craft effective CTAs that convert readers to sponsored products
- Communicate with sponsors to incorporate their revisions and feedback
Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience writing commercial copy, whether agency or in-house
- Demonstrable experience in copywriting with humour, satire, in line with the newsletter’s tone
- Passionate about the Creator Economy and the educational YouTube space
- Familiar with the newsletters space and how to write engaging ad copy for the format
- A self-motivated individual who thrives both independently and as part of a team, with a strong desire to grow and develop
- Highly organized, with excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, in English
- Interest in coding and programming is a big plus.
