Job Description
Freelance ecommerce copywriter assisting a toy brand with copy for Amazon and other marketplaces. Requires extensive experience in retail ecommerce, SEO, and product copy optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Create, optimise and manage product titles, bullet points, and descriptions across listings.
- Adapt brand messaging and product USPs into keyword-optimised content that drives performance.
- Maintain brand content quality, consistency and compliance with client guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years copywriting experience in retail/online marketplace ecommerce.
- Demonstrable experience with Amazon (or similar marketplace ie Walmart or Tesco).
- Robust knowledge of SEO, keyword/shopper intent and ecommerce search behaviour.
- Ability to spot and correct inconsistencies, improve ecommerce copy readability, adapt messaging to product categories.
- Comfortable with structured content templates and authoring tools.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of how small changes can impact performance.
