Job Description
Fullstack Developer building solutions with Node.js and React.js at Boticário Group. Focus on high performance applications and AI-assisted development responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Development and Maintenance: Design, implement and optimize high-performance, highly available backend and frontend applications, ensuring clean, maintainable and well-structured code.
- AI-Assisted Development: Natively and efficiently use approved AI tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Gemini) in the engineering pipeline — accelerating task refinement, code generation and refactoring, test-suite creation, documentation and incident analysis.
- Ownership and Autonomy: Take end-to-end responsibility for deliveries — from development and writing automated tests (unit and integration) to deployment (CI/CD) and production monitoring.
- Quality, Review and Validation: Ensure code health through rigorous Code Reviews and Pair Programming (combining human validation with AI support), auditing security, performance and adherence of generated code to the company’s architectures.
- Observability and Incidents: Monitor application health using monitoring/APM tools (e.g., New Relic, Grafana), proactively diagnosing and resolving incidents with a focus on root cause.
- Collaboration and Refinement: Actively participate in technical and product refinements, using AI to accelerate decomposition and detailing of requirements, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (Product, Design, Business) and supporting architectural and local design decisions for applications.
- Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing: Support team growth by sharing knowledge, mentoring less-experienced developers on engineering best practices and on the efficient use of AI tools in Boticário Group’s engineering pipeline.
Requirements:
- Solid experience building Full Stack solutions (preferably using Node.js and React.js)
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
- AI-driven development workflows: Practical experience or strong familiarity with code assistants and generative AI (Cursor, GitHub Copilot and/or Gemini) for refinement, code generation, testing and support in technical reviews
- Critical thinking and technical validation: Ability to analyze, audit, refactor and validate AI-assisted solutions, ensuring software quality, security and maintainability
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Practice writing unit and integration tests
- Daily knowledge and application of Clean Architecture, SOLID and programming paradigms (OOP / Functional)
- Experience with cloud architectures and services (preferably AWS, including AWS Lambda, etc.)
- Practical experience with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) and source control with Git
- Experience with observability and production log/metric analysis (New Relic, Grafana or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis for software issues
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and collaborative work
- Pragmatic problem-solving, autonomous profile and good interpersonal skills
- Desirable: Knowledge of Prompt Engineering techniques applied to the software development lifecycle
- Desirable: Experience with messaging and event systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
- Desirable: Test- and quality-driven development practices (TDD / BDD)
- Desirable: Knowledge of Microfrontend architectures and database normalization/modeling
- Desirable: Familiarity with basic web application security concepts (OWASP, access control)
- Desirable: Experience building and consuming APIs using GraphQL
