Job Description
General Counsel overseeing legal strategies and regulatory compliance for a rapidly growing healthcare technology startup. Partnering with CEO and board on legal and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the regulatory and legal strategy to deepen Stedi's relationships with payers.
- Lead competitive and enforcement matters, defending and advancing Stedi’s interests.
- Build the legal framework for novel data products that operate in complex regulatory areas.
- Use legal and regulatory expertise to identify growth opportunities.
- Own the full scope of legal for a fast-growing company alongside our Head of Legal.
- Partner directly with the CEO and board on strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant experience between law firms and fast-paced in-house roles.
- Significant in-house experience, including managing litigations and other disputes, ideally while in a senior legal role at a high-growth company.
- Deep healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
- A true generalist who can solve problems across domains, not just within a specialty.
- Fast. We move quickly and expect legal to keep pace.
- Commercial and business-oriented. You think like a business leader who wields legal expertise in furtherance of company strategy.
- JD and membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
