Job Description
Global Accounting & Reporting Manager responsible for executing accounting operations and reporting across multiple entities. Collaborating with FP&A and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Execute key components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close, including complex journal entries, reconciliations, and multi-entity consolidations.
- Own critical balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of variances and reconciling items.
- Perform monthly flux and variance analysis and prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Manage day-to-day global accounting operations, including accruals, expense classification, cutoff procedures, intercompany activity, and period-end validations.
- Maintain global accounting policies, documentation, and compliance with statutory and reporting requirements.
- Partner with FP&A to align GAAP results with management reporting, deliver forecast-to-actual analysis, and provide insights to improve forecast accuracy.
- Serve as the accounting owner within the ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and drive automation, system integrations, and process improvements to accelerate close timelines.
- Support audits and compliance efforts, maintain internal controls, and coordinate cross-functionally with Tax, Treasury, and Finance Systems.
- Prepare executive-ready reporting materials highlighting key financial drivers and business insights.
- Provide oversight, mentorship, and process documentation to support team effectiveness and accounting excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA preferred.
- 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience (public + industry preferred).
- Strong US GAAP knowledge.
- Experience managing multi-entity close processes.
- Advanced ERP and Close reporting tools such as Numeric experience (NetSuite preferred).
- Proven experience partnering with FP&A.
