Job Description

Global Immigration Manager leading strategy, policy, vendors, and US immigration operations at DoorDash. Enabling compliant workforce mobility for a global technology and logistics company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead global immigration strategy and policy
  • Design scalable frameworks and governance aligned with DoorDash’s talent and business goals
  • Oversee global immigration operations, including direct accountability for US immigration
  • Ensure compliance, consistency, and operational excellence
  • Manage and develop immigration professionals
  • Partner with Legal, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and People Operations
  • Integrate immigration into business planning and enable global workforce mobility
  • Drive vendor performance, process improvements, and scalable initiatives
  • Enhance compliance, efficiency, and employee experience
  • Support M&A and new-market expansion through immigration due diligence
  • Design solutions for smooth transitions and operational readiness
  • Act as a subject-matter expert and trusted advisor to global stakeholders
  • Report to the Senior Manager, Head of Global Mobility & Immigration

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of global immigration experience
  • Deep expertise across multiple jurisdictions, including US and EMEA
  • Experience leading immigration programs in multinational, fast-paced environments
  • Experience balancing compliance, business enablement, and employee experience
  • Experience managing and developing immigration professionals
  • Experience driving vendor performance and accountability
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to simplify complexity and partner effectively across functions
  • Strategic thinking and attention to detail
  • Interest in using new tools, including AI, to enhance efficiency, insights, and employee experience
  • Integrity, adaptability, and sound judgment in ambiguous situations
