Job Description
Group Head of IT & Digital PMO leading project management standards at Genuit Group. Involves strategic leadership over digital transformation initiatives and project governance across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead the Group IT & Digital PMO as the single source of truth for project delivery standards and governance.
- Define, own and maintain the project management framework, methodology, toolset and governance model.
- Ensure consistent application of project controls, reporting, assurance and escalation across all IT & Digital projects.
- Embed project governance into wider organisational processes including investment approval, procurement, finance and benefits realisation.
- Maintain a full view of the Group project portfolio, including risk, dependencies and capacity.
- Provide clear, accurate and actionable reporting to senior stakeholders and Group leadership.
- Lead and develop a central pool of project managers (permanent and contract).
- Support resource planning and demand management across the portfolio.
- Coach and provide escalation support for high-risk or complex initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Business Unit IT Business Partners operating within a federated PMO model.
Requirements:
- Significant senior experience in IT/Digital project or programme management.
- Proven experience establishing and leading PMO functions.
- Confident operating within federated or matrix structures.
- Strong background in manufacturing and/or supply chain environments.
- Experience consolidating multiple IT solutions into common platforms.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior/executive levels.
- A pragmatic, outcome-focused approach to governance and delivery discipline.
- Experience with lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
