Job Description
Product Management leader for IDERA, creating software tools for developers and application security teams. Lead a team to understand customer needs and build outstanding solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Own the company’s product roadmaps, creating a winning vision for your portfolio as well as a can't-miss strategy to achieve that vision.
- Inspire product managers to create roadmaps and prioritize product investments by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.
- Manage and coach a team of product managers daily, helping to grow their skills and maximize their impact.
- Deeply understand and evangelize the needs and demands of the application security market and create the product strategy to win in these segments.
- Collaborate with R&D leadership to build game-changing products for our customers.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Support to successfully deliver these products and ensure a great end-to-end customer experience.
- Be a thought leader within and beyond company products, experiences, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Extensive software product management experience, preferably in creating products for developer and/or application security teams.
- Experience leading remote teams leveraging great organizational skills and a history of process innovation.
- Thorough understanding of product management skills, agile/scrum best practices, and an ability to teach to others.
- Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and deliver unparalleled solutions.
- A track record for building products on time and within budget.
- Excellent strategic thinking and prioritization skills.
- Ability to create a winning roadmap to achieve business goals while making difficult trade-off decisions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
- You are a pragmatic visionary that enjoys interacting with customers and internal stakeholders to formulate business strategies and shape product direction.
- You are a proven problem solver, able to think creatively in order to remove obstacles.
