Job Description
Principal Technical Product Manager at Akamai bridging business and technical strategy in cloud computing. Transforming customer-focused goals into achievable outcomes while supporting teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Bridge business and technical strategy, requiring deep architectural and systems expertise

- Scale systems to meet evolving product needs
- Define long-term objectives for essential system components
- Address technical debt effectively
Requirements:
- 15 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
- Managing cloud technologies & control planes at enterprise scale
- Proficiency with platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
- Proven ability to manage complex infrastructurealancing technical debt
- Establishing and writing requirements for Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
- Technical fluency in CNCF technologies, Kubernetes expertise
- Experience in cloud infrastructure, monitoring, database management, and data visualization tools
- Communicate effectively by writing clear PRDs, product outcome documents
