Job Description

Head of Design owning end-to-end UX for AI-driven social-discovery products. Leading designers and using experimentation to improve conversion, retention, and LTV.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the product's end-to-end user experience, from ad creative and landing pages through onboarding, avatar selection, chat, media generation, and retention loops
  • Grow product metrics through design, including conversion to purchase, retention, and LTV
  • Form hypotheses, prioritize them, validate them through A/B tests, and take them through release
  • Set a single design direction and evolve the design system across UI, UX patterns, character visual style, generated content, animation, and UX copy
  • Lead a design team of 2 product designers, a UX writer, and a researcher
  • Build design processes and cross-functional collaboration with product, analytics, marketing, and engineering
  • Turn research, user interviews, and support insights into roadmap initiatives aligned with business priorities

Requirements:

  • 3+ years leading a design team of 3 or more
  • Experience in B2C daily-use products, such as AI companions, social, dating, health & fitness, edtech, or messengers
  • Experience with products having 2M+ MAU or $50M+ in revenue
  • Cases demonstrating measurable design impact on conversion rate, retention, or LTV, including before-and-after numbers
  • Strong product design expertise: UX, UI, user flows, information architecture, and prototyping
  • Confident proficiency in Figma
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems
  • Proven cross-functional work with product and analytics
  • Experience with A/B testing
  • Familiarity with prioritization frameworks such as RICE
  • Data-driven decision-making
  • Strong visual eye and taste paired with an analytical mind
  • English at C1 level or above
