Job Description
Head of Sales driving revenue growth for AI startup redefining dealmaking with an AI-native platform. Own the sales cycle and close initial customers in a dynamic remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential customers, focusing on in-house legal teams, PE firms, and VC firms
- Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, including outbound prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiations, and close
- Conduct tailored product demos, clearly communicating Aracor’s value in due diligence and complex document review workflows
- Develop and execute an initial sales strategy to drive new business and establish repeatable pipeline generation
- Build strong relationships with senior legal and investment professionals and understand their workflows, constraints, and decision-making process
- Partner closely with leadership to refine pricing, packaging, messaging, and ideal customer profile (ICP)
- Provide structured customer feedback to shape product development and marketing efforts
- Build and implement sales infrastructure, including CRM processes, pipeline reporting, and forecasting discipline
- Over time, help define the hiring plan and playbook for scaling the sales team post-initial traction
Requirements:
- 7–10+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS, legal tech, fintech, AI, or enterprise workflow software
- Experience as an early or first sales hire at a startup (0→1), building pipeline and closing initial customers without significant marketing support
- Proven track record of closing complex, consultative deals, ideally including six-figure ACV or enterprise sales cycles
- Experience selling into corporate legal teams, private equity firms, venture capital firms, or related dealmaking environments strongly preferred
- Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to tailor messaging to executive decision-makers and multi-stakeholder buying committees
- Ability to sell and position technical products (including AI) clearly, credibly, and responsibly—including handling questions about accuracy, confidentiality, and security
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Comfortable building and owning CRM hygiene, pipeline reporting, and forecasting
