Job Description

Health & Safety and Fire Consultant conducting health and safety and fire risk assessments for commercial and residential property sectors. Providing consultancy support and advice while balancing remote and site work.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake general health and safety and fire risk assessments.
  • Provide consultancy support and advice to clients in commercial and residential property sector.
  • Part of the week will be site-based and part at home working on reports.
  • Travel to sites is required, necessitating a full driving license and access to a vehicle.

Requirements:

  • High level qualification and relevant experience in H&S, Environmental Health, Fire, or related subject.
  • Experience in undertaking site based H&S / Fire Risk Assessments.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant UK standards and codes.
  • Proven technical ability.
  • Good report writing, IT and communication skills.
  • Desirable professional memberships: Chartered Membership of IOSH, CertIOSH, Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, Member of IFE, Member of IFSM.
