Job Description
Senior Cloud Governance Engineer at Redfin designing and implementing AWS cloud governance and identity solutions. Collaborating with teams to ensure secure and cost-efficient cloud strategies.
Responsibilities:
- design, implement and support network and identity solutions in a public cloud (AWS)
- lead the evolution of Redfin’s cloud governance strategy
- architect and implement governance frameworks, managing technical ambiguity and risks
- collaborate with Infosec and Platform teams to integrate security and governance into deployment lifecycle
- define and track key engineering metrics related to cloud spend, security posture, and resource utilization
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on cloud platform management experience, preferably in AWS
- 3+ years of experience in establishing, managing, and scaling a multi-account or multi-project cloud based environment
- deep passion for Infrastructure as Code and proficiency with Terraform, Spacelift, Terraform Cloud, Atlantis or CloudFormation
- 3+ years of experience with scripting languages
