Job Description
Home Care Assistant providing person-focused support for Home Instead clients in Bury St Edmunds. Assisting with companionship, household tasks, appointments, and personal care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, person-focused care during minimum 1-hour visits
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Support clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Accompany clients to appointments or shopping trips
- Assist with bathing, showering, dressing and grooming
- Help clients remain healthy, comfortable and independent
- Work flexible hours, including some weekends on a rotational basis
- Work with the Home Instead team to provide outstanding care seven days a week
Requirements:
- Availability for various visits and flexible hours
- Ability to work occasional weekends, including rotational weekends
- Access to reliable transportation
- Compassionate and caring personality
- Experience in care is welcome but not required
Benefits:
- Excellent pay rates: £13.50 per hour weekdays, £14.00 per hour evenings and weekends, plus £20.25 enhanced bank holiday rates
