Job Description

Home Health Physical Therapist assessing and implementing individualized therapy for children. Collaborating with care teams to ensure quality care and engaging patients in activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Engage patients with fun and age-appropriate activities to maintain their motivation
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure the highest quality of care

Requirements:

  • Certified Physical Therapist with a valid license to practice in Texas
  • Must be able to maintain various postures such as kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to regularly walk and run for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to transition from sitting to standing and vice versa independently
  • Must be able to utilize quick body movements as may be required by the behavior intervention plan
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Must be able to transfer/position/transport patients and adaptive equipment
  • Must have the visual ability to read and understand written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper means
  • Must have the manual dexterity to perform electronic device functions such as data collection
