Job Description

HRIS Analyst supporting Workday, HR data integrity, reporting, security, and system enhancements. Spellman manufactures high-voltage power solutions for advanced technology companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support for Workday and related HR systems
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve HRIS issues and user inquiries
  • Maintain employee, organizational, and position data integrity
  • Troubleshoot current state and configure new business processes
  • Configure new updates and feature enhancements
  • Perform regular audits to ensure employee data accuracy and compliance
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies and system inconsistencies
  • Assist in data cleanup initiatives and ongoing governance efforts
  • Monitor integrations and investigate data interface issues
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute standard and ad hoc reports
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and leadership on reporting needs
  • Validate report accuracy and ensure data consistency across systems
  • Assist with workforce analytics and KPI reporting
  • Participate in Workday release, enhancement, and project testing
  • Create and execute test scripts and document results
  • Assist with configuration changes and validation activities
  • Participate in implementation of new modules, business processes, and integrations
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and process procedures
  • Assist with end-user training and system adoption initiatives
  • Document configuration changes and support knowledge management efforts
  • Assist in maintaining HRIS security roles and permissions
  • Conduct security audits and access reviews
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and company security standards
  • Assist with HR technology projects and process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities
  • Participate in system implementations and enhancement projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • 1-3 years of experience supporting HRIS, Workday, payroll, HR operations, data analytics, or related business systems
  • Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Workday HCM preferred
  • Exposure to HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, or Recruiting processes preferred
  • Experience with HR data auditing and reporting preferred
  • Knowledge of HR system implementations or upgrades preferred
  • Understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle events
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
  • Proficiency with reporting and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of data privacy, confidentiality, and security best practices
