Job Description
Sales Agent responsible for consulting sales and client relationships at Artemis Insurance. Focused on personal lines and growing a book of business through leads and referrals.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and convert new personal lines sales opportunities through inbound and outbound efforts.
- Engage with prospective clients to assess insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- Conduct consultative sales conversations and present quotes, proposals, and coverage recommendations.
- Follow up on leads, referrals, and opportunities to drive conversion and close business.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, clients, and referral partners (e.g., realtors, loan officers, builders).
- Perform policy reviews and identify opportunities to increase coverage and round accounts.
- Cross-sell additional lines of business to expand client relationships.
- Prepare and process quotes, applications, endorsements, and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all sales activity within CRM and agency systems.
- Monitor and manage individual pipeline to ensure consistent sales activity and goal attainment.
- Collaborate with SDRs, service teams, and leadership to support client needs and business objectives.
- Stay current on insurance products, carrier guidelines, and market conditions.
- Maintain consistent outbound activity to build and sustain a pipeline of new business opportunities.
Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in personal lines insurance sales or a related sales role.
- Experience working in an independent agency environment preferred; experience in a captive agency environment will also be considered.
- Proven ability to generate and convert leads into new business.
- Experience working in a quota-driven or performance-based sales environment.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tools preferred.
- An active and valid Property and Casualty (P&C) License is required; Texas license preferred.
- Life and Health License is a plus.
- Must maintain all required licenses in good standing, including completion of continuing education requirements.
