Job Description
Licensed Insurance Service Representative servicing personal-lines policies for Truvo's autonomous AI insurance brokerage. Handling endorsements, billing, renewals, carrier escalations, retention, and human-AI service workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Own the customer relationship after the sale.
- Handle policy changes, billing and cancellation issues, and renewals.
- Own the service queue end to end, including endorsements, address and vehicle changes, driver additions, lienholder and mortgagee updates, ID cards, and proof of insurance.
- Proactively address non-pay warnings, cancellations, and rate increases by re-shopping across carriers and rewriting coverage.
- Review renewals, identify premium increases, and turn routine customer touchpoints into cross-sells.
- Resolve carrier-related issues involving portals, underwriting, and billing departments.
- Work alongside AI agents by providing feedback and applying human judgment where needed.
- Help shape Truvo's customer service experience and human-AI workflows.
Requirements:
- Active P&C license or ability to obtain one within 30 days.
- Experience in a personal-lines service, retention, or account-management role.
- Experience handling endorsements, billing, and cancellations.
- Ability to manage service queues through completion and follow carriers until issues are resolved.
- Customer-first approach focused on providing appropriate coverage.
- Comfort with new tools and AI-assisted workflows; coding is not required.
- Motivation to join an early-stage company transforming the insurance industry.
- Multi-line experience in auto and home/renters is a plus.
- Familiarity with carrier portals and comparative raters is a plus.
- Insurtech experience is a plus.
