Job Description
Intake Consultant serving as first contact for clients seeking Homewood Health’s evidence-based mental health and addiction treatment. Matching needs to programs, managing admissions, leads, agreements, and payments.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking access to the national continuum of treatment services
- Identify the best-fit services based on clients’ expressed needs
- Articulate program value and convert interest into admissions
- Collaborate with Clinical, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to address client needs and progress treatment admissions
- Manage leads in sales tracking software
- Set up clients in financial software
- Draft and forward payment agreements
- Process payments
- Participate in team meetings and support national sales colleagues
- Act as a subject matter expert for process and application enhancements
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a Health-related field
- 2–3 years’ experience in a professional business environment or health-related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and lead tracking software, including Salesforce
- Ability to work well with others and take responsibility for actions and decisions
- Openness to new ideas and ways of working
- Detail-oriented and accurate work style
- Intermediate telephonic skills in crisis assessment
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Pacific Standard Time
