Job Description

Inventory Demand Planner at Best Buy Canada analyzing sales data and managing inventory for retail and online. Collaborating with vendors and optimizing replenishment strategies while working remotely in Vancouver, BC.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze our inventory and sales data and provide your analytical insights.
  • Partner with our vendors around the world and analyze vendor performance to make informed decisions with our buyers.
  • Review and adjust location replenishment parameters and allocate the right quantities to each store and online.
  • Perform purchase order creation, tracking and receipts flow management to meet company objectives.
  • Perform monthly inventory forecasting.
  • Develop and communicate customer availability mitigation strategies to support sales forecasts.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of retail buying, inventory management, or planning experience
  • 2+ years of retail experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel – you love data!
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical thinking – have a “seek to understand” approach
  • Great team player
