Job Description
IT Applications Engineer administering NetSuite, Microsoft 365, Box, and Atlassian platforms at Signant Health. Supporting clinical-trial technology through integrations, automation, incident resolution, and AI adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and configure NetSuite, Microsoft 365, Box, Atlassian, and other assigned enterprise applications
- Manage user provisioning, permissions, and platform settings
- Provide tier 2/3 application support and resolve incidents across the supported application stack
- Coordinate with vendors and other IT teams on complex issues
- Build and maintain customizations using SuiteScript/SuiteFlow, Power Automate/Graph API, Atlassian workflows and scripting, and equivalent tools
- Develop and support API, webhook, and low-code/iPaaS integrations
- Build automations that reduce manual effort and improve reliability
- Plan, test, and execute application upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
- Apply access control, licensing, data-handling, security, and compliance practices
- Monitor application health, usage, and performance
- Identify and implement continuous improvements
- Liaise with software vendors and business stakeholders regarding support cases, licensing, and roadmap requests
- Maintain runbooks, configuration standards, and knowledge base articles
- Participate in knowledge transfer and cross-training
- Identify and pilot AI-assisted tooling, agents, and low-code automation opportunities
- Contribute to application roadmaps with the IT Application Operations Manager
Requirements:
- NetSuite administration and configuration experience
- Proficiency with SuiteScript 2.x and SuiteFlow
- Experience with saved searches/SuiteAnalytics
- Experience with SuiteTalk and REST API integrations
- Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Familiarity with Intune and the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Box content management administration, permissions, governance, and API-based integrations
- Administration and configuration of Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
- Experience with Atlassian workflow design and scripting, such as ScriptRunner
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and low-code/iPaaS tools such as Power Automate, N8N, and Boomi
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language: JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python
- Experience with patching, upgrades, testing, and change management for SaaS/cloud and on-premise applications
- Understanding of access management, data protection, and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GxP where applicable
- Familiarity with ticketing/ITSM and application monitoring/observability tools
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to document clearly and concisely
